INVESTMENTS AND FUNDING FOR WAVE ENERGY

Investments and funding

  • EUDP.
  • Energinet.dK
  • Private Investments
  • European Comission

The objective is to produce 1500 GWh/year at a reduced price of DKK 0.10 per kWh compared to offshore wind power.

This will require a public investment of nearly DKK 1.5 billion over the next 20 years. With the reduced electricity prices alone, this investment will be paid back in 10 years.
